· Archival Research: Having experienced archival researchers work with your team can save your production both time and money. Over the years we have cultivated relationships with an intricate network of public and private institutions and collectors. We know where to find the unique material that will enhance and deepen your storytelling, as well as enrich the aesthetic of your film.
· Licensing and Clearances: When you are in the final push from picture lock through post, you should be able to focus on the creative work. We have ongoing relationships with archives and can handle mastering, license negotiations and third party rights clearances — so you don’t have to.
· Database Creation and Management: We can create a uniquely designed database for your project to track all the moving parts involved in an archival-heavy film. In doing so, we work closely with editors to make sure archival materials are easily located and accessed. Our database enables us to create interim and final financial reports for producers, and can interface with EDLs on the back end to streamline the final mastering and licensing process.
